Macromedia- has pulled together a strong reportoire of rich media delivery tools. Director and Flash for animations,Caught in the Fire Breeze, RoboHelp, and RoboDemo for demos, presentations, and help;Contriute and Dreamweaver, and Flex for web development; Fireworks and Freehand for 2D graphics for desktop and web respectively. Macromedia is in the thick of the action for multimedia preesnce by taking a vertical market and then generalizing as opportunity presents itself. In a PC world dominated by Redmond that is a healthy approach.

Authorware - begins to fit ever more closer to Mx arhitecture with Multimedia based instruction.
